Oracle Fusion Financials
Executive summary.
City St George's undertook a Digital Transformation Programme to modernise their ERP capability to a cloud solution.
We were engaged partway through the project to take over management and delivery of the Data Migration (DM) workstream that was not delivering to plan.
We worked collaboratively with City St George's SMEs and the System Integrator (SI) to get Data Migration where it needed to be, enabling City St George's to go-live on their new ERP solution, adhering to very tight timelines.

Binary10 joined the ERP Programme at a difficult time in its lifecycle. They demonstrated an ability and willingness to work with the programme team to successfully deliver the new system. Binary10 flexed their approach and took action to support progress being made at pace against an uncompromising timeframe. The result was that the system went live successfully with very high levels of data accuracy, including in critical areas, such as payroll. It was good to work with a supplier focused on supporting their client in order to get the right outcomes.

Key delivery factors.
Utilising the SI's DM Strategy, we audited where DM had got to and then resourced a team that enabled it to progress in a manner aligned with our proven methodology.
Our target was to revisit and refine each migration object, improve data quality and reduce the time taken in order to meet the go-live target dates.
We completed 4 DM Cycles prior to cutover, improving data quality significantly each cycle.
The DM scope covered Financials modules (GL, AR, AP, FA), HCM, Payroll and Projects.
Utilising a Core DM Team made up of a combination of Binary10 consultants, City St George's Business SME’s and Systems Integrator for Data Loading, we successfully completed the data migration to agreed standards and timescales using the Binary10 methodology and toolset.
We utilised additional target Oracle instances as part of UAT, PCT (Payroll Comparison Testing) and Live load to reduce risk on key data load activities.
Stepping in mid-project is never easy, but by working closely with City St George’s and their partners, we turned a struggling data migration into a successful go-live.
